There are lots of areas of early years that I am passionate about – I don’t followlatest trends and gimmicks. In this modern world I believe that more than ever children need to experience ‘traditional play’ – we offer daily opportunity to explore outdoor space with open ended resources where their imaginations can take them anywhere they wish, where children can work alone or as a team to create and develop their own ideas. Children of the appropriate age learn basic skills on the nursery PC, however, they are not exposed to any other screen time during their nursery day.

I truly believe that the best thing about Hill Top is the staff; dedicated, caring, motivated and happy staff are what makes each day so special for the children. I invest a lot of time in speaking with staff, letting them know that their opinions count and that they are so very important in how we deliver our service and their role in that.
